Heartfelt Mindfulness
with Emily Horn, CMT-P
March Groups
“Mindfulness can help you take a more active role in your health and healing. You are not a machine being taken to the shop for a repair or a tune up. It’s best if you can begin participating in your own health care as early as possible. Starting in childhood by learning mindfulness practices in school would put people on the road to a much more healthy relationship to their body and their emotions. That’s much healthier than the default mode where you just hope for the best and treat the body more or less as an automobile that you drive into the hospital for repairs when it breaks down.”
Jon Kabat Zinn, MD, Author of “Full Catastrophe Living”
There are two weekly opportunities (Mondays, online, & Wednesdays, in person, at noon ET) to practice together and a chance to take a deep dive on a Saturday morning. The theme for the month is Heartfelt Mindfulness. Welcome! I’m Emily Horn….
and I’m passionate about helping people find balance, resilience, and well-being through mindfulness and holistic health. With over 15 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from all walks of life—from leading retreats to training meditation teachers worldwide.
I’ve also been deeply involved in bringing mindfulness into healthcare, working with Boston Children’s Hospital’s Comfort Ability Project to support children with chronic pain and being part of the ground floor team of VA CALM at the Los Angeles VA, helping clinicians manage stress and trauma. I’ve had the honor of leading mindfulness programs for healthcare workers at MAHEC in Asheville, NC, and even creating a mindfulness program for the Supernatural VR workout app, bringing meditation into the world of virtual fitness.
At Mindful Wellness Space, I bring a compassionate, science-backed approach to healing, integrating mindfulness with holistic wellness to support you on your journey. I look forward to meeting you!
“Emily Horn has served as a mentor and teacher for over eight years in our meditation teacher training program, and consistently offered our students skilled guidance, deep wisdom and her naturally compassionate support. In this and in her retreat teaching, Emily embodies the best qualities of a mature and dedicated meditation teacher.”
